What a busy yet incredibly exciting half term it has been for the children!
In Science, we completed our investigations into forces, developing our understanding of friction and air resistance through practical experiments. By linking Computing with Design and Technology, the children designed Victorian lanterns using 3D software before bringing their creations to life — an experience they thoroughly enjoyed.
In Maths, the classes worked hard on finding fractions of an amount, deepening their understanding by using concrete resources to support their learning.
Most children also successfully completed their Bikeability courses, where they learned how to ride safely on the roads. The instructors were extremely impressed with the children’s listening skills, and it was wonderful to see how much they gained from this valuable experience.
