Week beginning 8th December 2025
This week each class has taken part in a day of Science where they investigated how moving a light source changed the size of an opaque object's shadow. For this they had to make predictions, set up their investigation, record their results, present these on a graph and draw conclusions.
Week beginning 1st December 2025
This half term we have evaluated and designed comfort toys. On Friday, year 3 made their comfort toy room their design using back stitch.
Week beginning 24th November 2025
This half term in outdoor PE, the SCS coaches have been teaching the children hockey skills. They have been doing brilliantly with their ball skills; dribbling, shooting and passing. They have demonstrated excellent ball control and have been working fantastically in teams.
Week beginning 17th November 2025
This week we started our new unit in English: character description. For this we have learnt the story 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'. See how much they can remember.
Week beginning 10th November 2025
On Friday 14th November, Year 3 braved the rain and visited Sutton Hoo. They learnt about the discoveries found on the grounds, saw one of the burial mounds and looked at replica objects excavated.
Week beginning 3rd November 2025
This half term, year 3 are lucky enough to have Mrs Woolnough teach them Yoga. We had our first relaxing session this morning.
